My name is Jazmine Sedmik or Jaz for short. I am a Canberra based visual artist and mum. I have loved painting and drawing my whole life, and have returned to it in the last 2 years as a way to self explore and give myself a way of connecting with the world and people around me.

The artworks I have shown on this site are the result of time and experimentation with colout palletes to capture the vibrant colours of acrylic paint mixing in flow during a pour and freezing it in motion. Within each work I find different and unique meanings and hidden objects. This something my friends have shared over time, each person seeing different things each time they look into a painting.

Creating this body of work and the collections within is a process of healing and growth. I am very interested in art as a therapeuthic tool, as it has been for me. I still use painting to give deeper meaning and a positive mental state.

Coming collection pieces will see me experimenting with the pouring technique. A new collection of pieces will be available in MARCH 2026. I hope you enjoy my work, and enjoy getting lost in them.

Yes, I have a small permanent collection of works, however this website is my gallery space. I will also feature work in the future from creative and likeminded friends.

Experimentation, intricacy and creative possibilities are endless, no two pours are the same, gravity and fluid dynamics bring the unexpected whilst I provide form, process and pallete.

All sales are online only. Once purchased I will either mail. the work to you or make arrangement to give it to you in person if you live locally.

This site will grow in the future to include online events and exhibitions. I am planning workshops and opportunities to use my developed pouring techniques in Art Therapy settings.
